I wonder how many of you have ever eaten dog meat. I mention this because my experience always comes to mind as each new book in a wonderful series comes out. I think of the day in China when I was at a restaurant & the meat looked strange. When I commented on it, the friend with me said it was dog meat & when I said I didn’t want to eat it, he said, “You don’t want the dog to have died in vain, do you?”
Well now, I have a dog hero to recommend… Chet of the Chet & Bernie series of three books by Spencer Quinn, (the pseudonym of suspense author Peter Abrahams.) Chet the Jet is a dog who is a dedicated Private Eye and works with Bernie, owner of the Little Detective Agency. The story is told entirely from Chet's point of view, We sold all three of the series-- Dog On It, Thereby Hangs a Tail, & To Fetch a Thief to Munhakdongne in Korea when only the first had been written! The series has sold in many countries and the third one is coming out shortly in the U.S. to rave reviews.

Last week, I said I’d send news about available rights for some great new fiction books.
So I hope you don’t mind my simply mentioning one series. As we represent more than 70 top-selling authors, I set up a hard job for myself. I promise that next week I’ll list some of those many authors we are representing so you can simply get back to me & ask what’s available in your territories. Then we’ll try to help you by telling you how to get information about categories other than fiction.
